In 2006 we had no idea we'd be sifting through digital trash to find connection.
Back then, inspiration came from scavenger rituals- night time curbside offerings, gifts waiting to be transformed and recorded. We were wartime trash pickers, dumpster diving the days away, embracing the rejected to discover that truth lives in the trash.
What they tell us to ignore is what we should look at the hardest. What they call worthless carries the pulse. The essential is always invisible, immaterial like sound itself. What they call noise, we call Anthem.
