I wrote this essay because I needed to name something I think many of us already feel: that what we're living through isn't a breakdown of the system, it's the system working exactly as it was built. This essay isn't here to wrap things up in a bow. It's here to hold space for truth, for grief, for the kind of hope that survives when everything else feels rigged.

Because the world we were told to trust is crumbling, and maybe that's where something better can finally begin.
